Westwood Convergence Media Field Trip Article

On Thursday, February 11th, our Studio 1031 members went to visit Westwood High School. They met up with three other middle schools to learn about Westwood’s convergence media program. They learned and took notes about subjects like journalism, yearbook, newspaper, and photography. 7th grader, Jasmine McConnell, said, “ It was a fun filled, learning experience.”
One activity that was favorite for most of our Studio 1031 students were the tongue twisters. An 8th grader in Studio 1031, Ja’Mari Frederick, said that her favorite tongue twister was saying red leather, yellow leather twice, really fast. 8th grader, Payton Shobert, said “It was cool to see how they do it at Westwood, and how we can use what we learned here.”
