Harvest Hope Food Drive
Ever heard the Harvest Hope Food Drive? Does that sound kind of boring? Well, it’s not; actually it quite interesting. This Harvest Hope Food Drive is here to help donate food, water, and clothes for people who really need them. Ms. Kuhlmann says that, “Harvest Hope started with the first student council. We started partnering up with Westwood at first then we decide to do it ourselves- just as a Muller Road Fundraiser.” She also said she recommends this to all students, and try to make it into a contest.
We had three students tell what they thought of the Harvest Hope Food Drive. Faith Sander said, “You can donate clothes, so come and donate all types of clothes: clothes that don’t fit you or don’t like anymore.” Sydney Woodrow said that she thought it was a good idea and explained it by saying, “We saw some people on the internet, and saw their whole house had been wiped out. And we just wanted to help out, and give kids a chance to have clothes.” All the girls agreed that they are proud of what they do.
